Elegant flowing aromas of baking spice and vanilla from new oak integrates beautifully. A nose of ripe black fruits, crème brûlée, plum and earth develops in the glass; the color is red garnet. The wine has amazing texture and transitions to a firm and very well balanced mouth feel; the finish is rich, layered and long. There is a distinct “expression” or “sense of place” in this wine. With proper cellaring, this wine should age well for ten years.
All grapes are sustainably grown at Woodward Canyon Estate Vineyard. Since 2006, our vineyard has been certified sustainable by the International Organisation for Biological Control (IOBC) & LIVE.
