Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
This dark, brick red wine begins with generous herbs, tobacco, and resin. It continues on with a slight roasted quality of coffee or cocoa powder, dried violets, black olive, gravel, and subtle black fruits. It is elegant and opens up beautifully with more time in your glass. Dry tannins create a nice grip, and subtle fruit and savory aromas show varietal typicity. This wine is balanced enough to enjoy now but will reward those who are patient. With proper cellaring, this wine should age well for ten years or more.
