This special limited bottling is part of our Holiday series that we do yearly. The image is etched into the front of the bottle. A very special bottle indeed! No case discount on this wine but it may be used towards a case for discounts on other wines.
About the wine:
The 2006 Estate Red is 42% cabernet franc, 35% merlot, 14% cabernet sauvignon and 9% petit verdot, all from our Estate Vineyard. It was fermented in small open top tanks with native yeast. The Estate Vineyard produced just under one ton per acre in 2006, giving a wine deeply concentrated with cassis and black fruits. Spice and vanilla from new oak integrate beautifully with the fruit: the texture is soft and generous and the finish is long and enticing.
