Shari Brumbach, Guest Services (right):
Shari was an early import to the Walla Walla Valley, as she grew up just south of Walla Walla in Milton-Freewater, Oregon. After graduating from Oregon State University (where she took her first beer, wine and spirits class and fell in love with wine) she moved back to the Valley to be closer to her family. In Walla Walla, she stumbled into the wine industry where she became hooked. She enjoys all aspects of wine (talking, selling and especially drinking!) and is excited about learning more working at Woodward Canyon. An avid Beaver fan, she spends her spare time (when she has some) hanging out with her friends, taking care of her nephew and traveling to Kennewick to watch the Tri-Cities Americans play hockey.
Nora Mounce, Tasting Room Associate (left):
Nora learned to appreciate the joys of country living while growing up in the Sierra Nevada foothills in rural Northern California. Her small town roots inspired a fascination for cooking, gardening and dogs, a trio wonderfully suited for working in the wine industry. After spending years living in San Francisco, studying sociology in Ireland, farming in Hawaii and finally graduating from UC Berkeley in 2007, Nora headed to the Pacific Northwest to enjoy all of its glory. She shortly found herself working in the wine industry and is thrilled to be Woodward Canyon’s newest team member. When not in the Tasting Room talking about food, wine and dogs, Nora is off hiking with her husky, reading a good cookbook or sharing stories from her kitchen on her blog.
